Avengers: The true one-page first appearance of the Taskmaster. (1980)

Green Lantern: Echoing the events of Crisis…, Guy Gardner becomes a Green Lantern full-time. And the DCU will never be the same! (1985)

Justice League of America: Another annual JLA/JSA team-up issue featuring one of my favorite villain groups for a three-part story: the Secret Society of Super-Villains! And by Perez no less (this issue also has a two-page pinup of both teams by the artist). The Ultra-Humanite receives his albino-ape form in this story. Fun comics. (1981)

Superman (2003)

Wonder Woman: The first issue of the Greg Rucka run which was a far better WW comic than the Walt Simonson/Jerry Ordway story before it. For some reason though, I didn’t stay with it for the long haul. I picked up this first issue but didn’t return until Rags Morales joined the book. Not sure why. (2003)
